Abstract
The author argues that involuntary moral bioenhancement (IMBE) can add value to the debate on human germline genome editing. He views that compulsory moral bioenhancement diminishes human freedom, free will and the disposition of human existence and also inflicts harm on humans. He contends that compulsory IMBE is a moral obligation of humans and he also questions the effectiveness of IMBE of human offspring by genome editing.
