ICT SMEs in emerging economies encounter a range of systemic challenges that affect growth. Some of these include inadequate leadership, insufficient market research and vulnerability to external factors. Despite their potential to be the drivers of economic growth in developing countries, small and medium ICT companies challenges in integrating sustainable development into their strategies. This paper proposes a strategic framework that integrates sustainability-driven practices: the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By embedding sustainable leadership, stakeholder engagement, non-financial reporting and continuous innovation into core business strategies, ICT SMEs can simultaneously achieve operational efficiency, financial stability, and societal impact. Through a case study of an ICT SME in Oman, the paper demonstrates how adopting these sustainable practices enhances resilience and competitiveness in rapidly changing markets. The paper concludes by recommending future research to validate this framework across more SMEs, offering pathways for broader application.
