Abstract

This study examines the tourism potential of Leskovac using data from 2019 to 2025, focusing on arrivals, overnight stays, and the accommodation structure. The results show strong growth in tourism, driven by rising foreign arrivals and the expansion of apartment and private room offerings. The primary objective is to ensure the reorientation from a transit (short-stay) to an integrated destination model: the advancement of gastronomic and event tourism should be accompanied by a more efficient utilization of the cultural-historical and natural potential of the territory
