Abstract

The paper analyses management in health care institutions in Serbia under the valid regulations with reference to possible improvements in the traditions of comparative law and practice. Review of management systems in the United States and the Netherlands helps to identify ways to improve the management system of health care institutions in Serbia using the so-called soft law instruments and the adoption of a code of professional and ethical conduct of leaders in the health care institutions.
